Hope Project

Prairie Home and Learning Center will provide love to marginalized children in North Vietnam.

Opportunities to serve TCKs and its local communities

We actively serve Third Culture Kids (TCK)s in Asia (currently in Vietnam and Japan). TCKs assimilate a culture that is different to that of their parent’s culture or country of nationality; and these children have their own unique sets of challenges. Besides meeting TCKs’ educational needs in school settings, it provides opportunities to serve as a beacon to the surrounding communities. In response to this, Christian-based curriculum is made accessible to local communities. If you are interested to find out more, please email to info@srcint.org.

Biblical Translation

There are over 7,000 languages in the world and just over 600 have the full Bible while over 3,000 have portions of the Scriptures. Some of our missionaries work with other Bible translation organizations to provide the Bible to people in their native language. We currently have missionaries in South East Asia who have worked with translating the Bible into a minority language and are now learning a Sign Language to begin working with the Deaf community to provide them the Bible in their language as videos.

Medical Work

Medical work is one of important mission works as “healing bodies, saving souls” like Jesus’ examples.

It can be usually done with pioneering work in medical field, teamwork and medical professional commitment in the areas of education, disciple making or counselling, medical services as healing ministry or related works, medical humanitarian activities, etc.

1. Medical education: (1) work with professors, lecturers of the medical schools in medical education/ training/ research programs (2) counselling or mentorship program for the medical students and medical staffs (3) disciple making ministry among those peoples through many programs

2. Global Health Leadership: Global health study / research is new and important area of discipline in medical education and through this, we can help the people to become global citizens so that they can contribute their countries or world in many difficult global health issues (1) Global Health Leadership Course has been implemented among some medical students of the TUMP (Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy) (2) This program also extends further medical school such as Hanoi University of Medicine, HoChiMinh Medical University (3) Now these program is connected with the mission center of the Severance hospital, Seoul, Korea and the United Board

3. Spiritual fellowship among medical professionals including medical mission activities in local base: CMF-V (Christian Medical Fellowship-Vietnam) in Hanoi, Vietnam is one of the good examples. It was founded in 2018. And its ministries are intimate fellowship, bible studies for personal growing, students’ ministry for the next generation, medical mission work through medical services, networking/ collaboration with the local churches, international organization (such as ICMDA). We also plan to build Vietnamese hospice hospital for outreaching to underprivileged peoples.

4. Short term or long-term medical services or activities for poor peoples in Vietnam including collaboration with some NGOs.

5. Running a medical clinic as an effective tool for mission or BAM(business as mission) (1) Disciple making for the staff of the clinic (2) Serving the community people and outreaching to the community through clinical activities to accomplish the goal – “healing bodies, saving souls”
