We’re amazed at the work Titus, a deacon in his early 30s, is doing. He has been building relationship with some of the teens in the village, by allowing them to fish in the pond of the church compound and by doing so, had time to share life with them. So when they saw the church preparing for Christmas, 3 young men came on their own accord to volunteer their help in decorating the church. For the past 7 years, some neighbors have been “warned” either at work or through other channels to keep away from the church. However, slowly even this hostile mindset has been changed and this year saw all our neighbors, police officers and army officers alike, come into the church compound for the Christmas celebration. We see semblance of Zechariah 8:22 “Many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts…”
